never take anything too seriously!

Ayello's White Dress

There is Hope behind that door
she's wearing white again- floating high-
anchored by a thread- like a balloon-
full skirts and weightless- only halfway there
My little dance means nothing to her
she sees through it all
translucent invisible- it matters not-
she hasn't fallen yet- she's afloat- atop-
a breath of lightness
she doesn't even know she is waiting...

updates...

so how is everyone doing? it's been a crazy couple of months for me, but is starting to settle down a bit. sylvia bofill is definitely in as a writer, and will be sending us text from puerto rico in april.

the dates for the workshop at ramapo are june 20-27.

still working on september dates. also thinking about applying for a residency at bob wilson's watermill center next spring; would be a different iteration using the same texts, but with the backdrop of wilson; high modernist aesthetic replacing the kind of post-industrial meadowlands center...

more soon! p

Chorus recording: straight-up (snow)

This is just a straight-up reading, no mixing etc. Hard to beat lovely words simply read!
